A modern-day Super Tuscan from the ancient and arguably smallest appellation in Italy that has remained the same size since the 1700's.  Intense aroma of cherry follwed by delicate spices. Balanced and structured with firm but velvety tannins thanks to over a year in oak to soften everything out.  A fantastic pizza night wine or pairs amazing with gamier meats and stews.
