This is a new production by a famed Chianti producer ( Fèlsina), who have owned the property for decades and after years of recovery to what were neglected vineyards, the first wines were produced in 2009.   
From the hills of the Tuscan-Romagna Appenines, is this storybook Italian village nestled amidst three hills that characterize the landscape, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, fruit orchards, artichoke fields, and a forest that truffle hunters love. 
These are their youngest vines, about 20 years old, that produce lively, juicy, easy to drink Sangiovese that needs no accompaniment.
